Most of the dates sold around the world are from the
illegally occupied territories. This is
also true of dates that are ingredients in snacks, deserts, and natural foods, as
well as those found in bulk bins in health food stores. Date sugar and date bits, which are sold for
baking and raw foods recipes are also likely from the illegally occupied territories. Even dates labeled Palestinian are likely to profit
Israelis in the illegally occupied territory.
Read the labels! If the label
says Palestine and they are not Fair Trade Certified they are probably really
occupation dates.
