To more clearly understand how this all adds up to apartheid please see our posts on war crimes. Please boycott all bottled water to whatever extent you can. And park your car, at least one day a month. We can be the change!

Important, please read, from Naomi Wolf: "An extremely important update directly from Wall Street Journal commentator Joe Lauria, in response to a question from this community about whether the ICC ruling protects Palestine's access to its own gas reserves: Joe Lauria: "The Palestinians have even more rights to that gas than I had thought. This is from Francis Boyle, U. of Illinois international law professor who's been an adviser to the Palestinian leadership, in an email to me tonight: He says the Palestinians "get a 12 mile territorial sea, a 24 mile contiguous zone, and a continental shelf and an exclusive economic zone up to 250 miles. So any gas fields within those radii they have a claim to." Please help me welcome such great contributions to this discussion from Joe Lauria, and please help me thank Prof Francis Boyle as well for this critical information. We should try to interview both men, as this is a huge story -- if the Palestinians have a right to up to 250 miles of development access -- then, as you remember the Marine One and Marine Two gas fields map, it means they are sitting on a big chunk of the future energy reserves of Europe if not more of the world. A major major development in the story, (and I would add, probably part of the story behind the story of the aggression in the region) broken further by Joe Lauria of the Wall Street Journal. So you can share this better, I am adding the WSJ link though it is behind a pay wall . . ." http://www.wsj.com/articles/palestinians-to-join-international-criminal-court-1420607546?KEYWORDS=JOE+Joe
